Record Spending In case you forgot, here's a good reminder of my record on spending.
The Sequel Bob Ehrlich: Return of the Special Interests

Hey, Big Spender

Government spending is bad. Whoever increases government spending needs to go. Whoever increases government spending the most REALLY needs to go. Wait, I take that back…

What I've Been Up To Lately

I was feeling pretty down after losing in 2006. But I always knew there would be a few special interest buddies that could take care of me. Jesse Helms’ old Chief of Staff hooked me up with Womble.

I'm on Your Side. Trust Me.

Wait, are you an Insurance CEO? Oil company? Predatory lender? No? OK, maybe “on your side” was a little strong. I mean I can’t fight for everybody, and those guys have always had my back.

So the newspapers have been reporting about these so-called "jobs" that have been created and about crime going down in Maryland. Well let me tell you somethin' folks - Bob Ehrlich thinks it's all a bunch of bunk!

Besides, how's my campaign message gonna work if Maryland is digging out of the recession, or if crime is going down? I mean, is it really that big a deal that Maryland led the nation in adding 38,500 jobs in March? Unless one of those jobs is for me as Governor, I'm not counting it.

Now they're saying that crime has gone down to its lowest level since 1975 and they're using all these facts and figures to prove it.  Listen, the only stats that matter to me are the ones that I use -- and I say Maryland stinks!  Just listen to my radio show sometime. All my callers agree...We've all heard about Goldman Sachs betting against the national economy and homeowners, well, I'm betting against Maryland.

Do I l look and sound like a candidate for Governor??? Of course not. You can't call me that until I've filed all of the necessary paperwork and I won't be able to that until July.

When I launched my candidacy for Governor it didn't mean I was actually going to actually BE a candidate. Those people have to follow all types of campaign finance laws. Why do you think I didn't register as a lobbyist?

Either way, I HAD to get back to election board so I got my lawyer to draft up this ridiculous letter that say I'm not actually a candidate. This should distract them for a little while. At least until someone actually figures out that I really am a candidate and I'm running for Governor. hahahahhaha.

And for those of you who claim that I didn’t really raise taxes and spending by $3 billion, I'm going to get my attorney to come up with a legal argument as to why I didn't.  Or better yet, that I was never really Governor or a lobbyist.  It’s the year of the outsider, right?
